Shipping policy

At SANKO, we work with independent designers and makers across Africa to bring thoughtfully crafted pieces to a global audience. As many of our items are made to order, shipping timelines may vary but we’ll always keep you informed.


Order Processing & Production Times

Many pieces listed on SANKO are made to order to honour craftsmanship and reduce waste.


Ready-to-ship items: processed within 2–5 business days

Made-to-order items: require 7–21 business days for production, depending on the designer and complexity

Production time is separate from shipping time and is noted on the product page where applicable.



Shipping Rates

We currently offer worldwide variable rate shipping based on your shipping address. We also offer shipping on all order over £150/$200.

This applies to:

  • Domestic and international orders

  • All product categories

Shipping is calculated once per order at checkout.


Shipping Destinations & Delivery Times

We ship worldwide.

Estimated delivery times after dispatch:

  • Ghana & West Africa: 1-5 business days

  • UK & Europe: 5-10 business days

  • North America: 7-12 business days

  • Rest of World: 7-15 business days

Delivery times are estimates and may vary.

Orders containing items from multiple designers may arrive in separate shipments at no additional cost.


Customs, Duties & Taxes

International orders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, or handling fees imposed by local authorities.

These charges:

  • Are not included in the shipping fee

  • Are the responsibility of the customer


Tracking Your Order

Once your order ships, you’ll receive a tracking link via email.
Please allow 24-48 hours for tracking updates to appear.


Delays

Delays may occur due to customs, courier issues, or production timelines for made-to-order items.

While SANKO cannot guarantee delivery dates, we’ll support you if issues arise.


Incorrect Address or Failed Delivery

Please double-check your shipping details at checkout.

SANKO is not responsible for delays or losses due to incorrect addresses or failed delivery attempts. Additional reshipping fees may apply.
