Never use a hairdryer, radiator, or other direct heat source to speed up drying, as excessive heat can damage or crack footwear materials. Protect the finish. Use only cleaning or protective products specifically designed for the boot’s material. Do not apply ordinary leather wax or conditioner to suede/nubuck areas, as it can permanently change their appearance. Handle the hardware with care. Wipe the metal eyelets, buckles, and other hardware with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals. Store with care. Store in a cool, dry place. Keep the boots supported when not in use to help maintain the shape of the shaft and padded tongue.
